Swimsuits are obviously not an easy item to shop for. They’re so personal. And after kids, it can feel even harder to find “the one.” So I pulled together a swim roundup for you to bring some ease to your pool days ahead!
Did you know that you can have support without committing to a retro vibe?
I finally tried a swimsuit ($275) with hidden underwire (thank you Else!) and man, it lives up to the hype. Else is a lingerie brand so it makes sense that they do this well. They also use hidden underwire here ($245) and here ($130).
Karla Colletto calls it “silent underwire” ($366) which makes me laugh because people sort of whisper about this brand. It’s been around since 1981 and you probably haven’t heard about it right? They’re well stocked here, here and here. Note: they use UK sizing so their 6 is a US 2 + their 16 is a US 12 etc.
This underwire ($330) isn’t totally hidden but it’s hard to see with the print, which I thought was another good way of doing it. Also here ($320).
A well placed curve goes a long way.
A suit ($276) I’ve worn and loved for years. The support from this one comes from the design.
Nothing wrong with some retro ($180).
This design ($276) is based off a best selling bra.
Also, I found this Eres suit ($470) very discounted on the outnet right after I gave birth to Penelope almost 6 years ago and it’s still a favorite that’s super supportive via design details. I will keep an eye out for it on the discount sites and report back if I see it!
I’m seeing more and more specialization in swim, which I love.
This ($198) feels like the ideal chasing kids suit. You can pick between a regular or long torso and they have a busty version ($198).
This ($95) is one of Left on Friday’s most popular tops and I love that they have one version for A-C cups and a different version for D+ cups.
Or turn any swimsuit into one made for your boobs with this swim bra ($128).
Is there a more obvious clue that you’ve given birth?
Left on Friday gifted me this bottom ($95), which has a cult like following and now I know why! Bonus points that you can pick a top specifically for your boob size.
Ulla Johnson has been doing this one ($190) for years, and she’s still making it - the sign of a winner.
Cute too ($90)
See you next week!
With much love,
Olivia
One Last Thing
3 sales on my radar:
Supergoop is doing 20% off this week. You don’t need a code for this one.
For my fellow Roz people, they are running 20% off this and other sets. My code OliviaW15 works on top of it too!
The Hanna Andersson sale is really good for the inevitable camp clothes haul. I got these now $10 shorts for Penelope to wear under her dresses and these now $11 tees for Sammy.
