Happy Eyes: Amber Nicole Thurman

May her memory be a blessing.

I voted for Kamala Harris yesterday. It felt like three words were floating around me as I filled in the bubble by her name: Amber Nicole Thurman. Amber was a mother of a six-year-old little boy. She worked in medicine and hoped to become a nurse. She died in a hospital with every ability to administer the routine medical procedure that would have saved her life. May her memory be a blessing.
