On Love and Partnership with Del Wright AKA My Husband
The last person I expected to interview!
I’m so surprised and excited that my husband, Del, agreed to come on the newsletter this week. I rarely show him here because he cares a lot about privacy. Whenever I say something vaguely it’s intentional, and usually for his sake. So, this interview is really special and fun for me! If I had to pick two words to describe him they would be brave and wise. He’s lived a lot of life (I want him to write a book one day) and has the perspective to show for it. He’s also the most spiritual person I know. It’s one of my favorite things about him. Del doesn’t use words like “magic” or “manifest” but he definitely lives his life with those energies.
I love the timing of this interview because it feels like we’ve landed—or at least have one foot—on the other side of a very challenging period of life. Pregnancy, moving, birth, not sleeping, moving again, people we love dying, big career changes… the last three years we’re a rollercoaster. We’ve both learned what it feels like to truly lean on each other. We’ve done a lot of growing together. The love and family we’re co-creating, day in and day out, is the work we’re most proud of.
