My best advice for this weekend: be true to your own list. One thing the sales really help me with is working through my to-do list faster than I otherwise would. There’s so much that needs to get done between now and the end of December! I think for all of us, one of those things is gifts. Soooo….
My gift guides are here to help you make it through your list. I edited them down a ton so they don’t feel exhaustive and truly represent an edit of hits. They’re inspired by the people I love most and include many of my personal gifting wins. And yes, the majority of what’s included is on sale this weekend. I hope you love them! Here’s a look around and some highlights from each guide:
Kids Near and Far: This one is sorted by age so as you scroll the gifts will go from baby to big kids. My kids love these bird stuffies that make accurate bird calls. They’re teaching us all how to identify different birds by sound! This personalized basketball (she also makes soccer, footballs etc.) is the coolest way to not lose a ball at the playground. I could go on and on but I’m cutting myself off so scroll through it all here!
Husbands, Dads and Brothers: My husband’s favorite gift I ever got him is this. Since we’re ahead of the game, you actually have the time to personalize it in whatever way feels special to you. I love the idea of doing one for the year we just had and making it a tradition for my family every year. For less arduous ideas, there are so many winners in this one including lots of easier personalized things!
Wives, Moms and Sisters: Every time I see a woman with her ankles peeking out in the cold I want to tell her about these socks. They add cool factor to any outfit. This gorgeous EVOO where you can write a beautiful custom message on the label! This might be the prettiest menorah I’ve ever seen. This skincare set for anyone who hasn’t tried this yet. I need to cut myself off again but there’s so much to love here!
Small Special Things (Under $30): Have your kids decorate one of these wooden frames, put a sweet picture inside and you have a $2 gift any parent or grandparent will love! More small special things here.

Rifle Paper (30% off) is great for wrapping paper, gift tags and all the rest of it.
Melissa and Doug (30% off) and Ooly (25% off) are both great for kids travel prep. I’m ordering a bunch of things for the kids to open on our flight. Ooly also has free coloring pages you can print out for flights, dinners and more. Tonies is doing 25% off, and also released a cute holiday series.
For kids holiday clothes Rylee and Cru (includes Quincy Mae/Noralee) is doing 30% off and you can use my code OLIVIARWRIGHT for an additional 5% off. Most brands aren’t stacking discounts so wanted to highlight this one!

See you next week for something soothing and relaxing!
Shop Talk
I read somewhere that great style is how often you say no. I love this idea, and think it’s especially useful this month when overwhelm is high. It’s reflective of what I’ve been working on this month too, which is my shop!
On Love and Partnership with Del Wright AKA My Husband
I’m so surprised and excited that my husband, Del, agreed to come on the newsletter this week. I rarely show him here because he cares a lot about privacy. Whenever I say something vaguely it’s intentional, and usually for his sake. So, this interview is really special and fun for me! If I had to pick two words to describe him they would be brave and wise. He’s lived a lot of life (I want him to write a book one day) and has the perspective to show for it. He’s also the most spiritual person I know. It’s one of my favorite things about him. Del doesn’t use words like “magic” or “manifest” but he definitely lives his life with those energies.
6 a.m.
I’m writing to you from Camp Mommy. Aka the 3 post-camp weeks before school starts. I haven’t been looking forward to these weeks. It might be fair to say that I’ve been dreading them. To confirm my bad attitude, my son woke up at 6 a.m. on day 1. This is usually my writing/reading/thinking/drinking coffee in silence time. “Ugh! I knew it! This is going…
